From Football to Wrestling

The link between football and wrestling is real.  Their are countless football players who are enjoying successful careersin the NFL.  Their are many crossover skills.   Wrestling will teach leverage, quick hands, good hips, balance, explosiveness  but more than anything it helps you with your attitude.   An attitude of its me vs you.  Wrestlers have self discipline and self motivation that you can take to the field and punish your opponents.    Common Misconceptions - "I will have to loose weight" - FALSE - The days of loosing lots of weight in wrestling are gone.  "I wont be as stong if I miss out on weightlifting for a few months." - FALSE - you may see a short drop in max but you will see an increase in cardio but with your body being in better composition you should see increases in maxes and explosions far beyond what you thought possible.
